This trip is for individuals who enjoy the outdoors and want to learn more about Vietnamese culture outside of the city. Bat Trang ceramic town grew up by the Red River in the 10th century, much like any other civilization. Our knowledgeable tour guide will take you directly to the 700-year-old Bat Trang ceramic village, passing past gorgeous guava fruit gardens and vegetable plantations. You will have the opportunity to learn about traditional Vietnamese architecture and culture while visiting the village. You can even manufacture your own ceramic item and take it home with you.
Our experienced guide will meet you at the meeting point (or your hotel) and give you a brief tour introduction for a 100%-happy-trip then we will start our adventure.
Then we will drive along the Red River dyke, passing through guava and vegetable gardens, which are one of Hanoi’s main sources of food, to the ceramic village of Bat Trang. Stop at the village, where our guide will lead you through the zigzagging maze of alleyways to learn about villagers’ daily lives.
During the walking tour, our guide will stop at a ceramic workshop to teach you about the process of making ceramics and give you the opportunity to design your own ceramic bowl or teacup.
Our home tour, which includes lunch, will provide you with a detailed image of what life is like in the country and in the city.
