If you are an early bird, we definitely recommend you not to miss this sunrise paddle experience. Otherwise, the sunset option may work better for you. Check both choices out and enjoy yourself!

DAY 1 PADDLING HOI AN
OPTION 1: PADDLING HOI AN AT SUNRISE

Don’t forget to set your alarm the previous day. Our guide will pick us up at 04.30 am to bring us from our hotel to our kayak station in Cam Thanh. After a briefing on paddle safety instructions and after receiving some info about the area where we will be kayaking, we will be off towards Cua Dai bridge to catch up with an amazing view of the sun as it rises over the ocean (weather permitting).
Time to enjoy ourselves during this very special time of the day. Only when we have had enough amusement with these first sunlights, then with some short strokes we will arrive at a local fishing market. We will disembark for a walk through the bustling market till a local spot where we will sit down for a local breakfast and coffee.
On our way back, we will paddle through a coco-palm island so that we can get a glance at this unique ecosystem in Hoi An before returning to our hotel around 8:00 – 8:30 am.

Note: The Sunrise paddling tour is not available from 1st Nov to 28th Feb (cloudy/rainy season in Hoi An)
OPTION 2: PADDLING HOI AN AT SUNSET

Get a closer look to Hoi An’s river life while the sun goes down over the Lantern Town. The river system and the countryside of Hoi An reward their visitors with countless charming moments (and with stunning photo opportunities too!). Join us also to appreciate either from our kayak or stand-up paddle the beauty of Hoi An’s Ancient Town right during the golden hour.
We will be picked up in our hotel at 2:30/3:30 pm for a quick transfer to the place where we will start paddling (our Handspan travel consultant will concrete the pick-up timing for us, since it will vary depending on the season in which we visit Hoi An, so that we can witness the sunset at the right timing).
After a briefing on paddle safety instructions and after receiving some info about the area where we will be kayaking, we will set off on our paddle trip along the coco palm forest and different local villages. Our paddling ride will end up in a pier close to the heart of the Lantern Town (Ancient town) where we will enjoy a soft drink at a local café before being transferred back to our hotel.
Note: Pick up time will vary depending on the season in which we visit Hoi An.
